Because it’s Monday…
8 Feb
… I think it’s time for another cup of tea.
Honestly if green tea wasn’t so healthy then my addiction to it would be a bit of a worry!
Does anyone else have an addiction that just happens to be good for you?

We’re getting married. We wanted to tell our family and friends to save the date… but we didn’t want to spend any money doing it. We wanted to do something that would them an idea of the kind of wedding they were being invited to… and what we’re like as a couple. So we shot [...]
“Oh my god, I thought you’d called the whole thing off!” This was a friend’s reaction recently to the non-enthused response I gave about our wedding planning. Non-enthused, not because we’ve cancelled the wedding, but because we haven’t done any wedding planning for, well, nearly a month. Cue slightly concerned looks from some friends and [...]
I’m no Imelda Marcos but I do own more 5 inch heels than is surely sensible – so imagine my surprise when I realised I hadn’t even considered shoes for our wedding. (This only dawned on me after reading this post on Bletherings of a Glasgow Bride.) As someone who has a plethora of sparkly, [...]
Some of you know this already but a while back the OH asked me to stop blogging about our wedding. (If you didn’t know, you might have noticed that there’s a been a lack of ‘reference’ posts recently.) He asked me to do this for a sensible and very good reason. (Not because he was [...]
Have you seen K, tea‘s wedding? I saw her pics on Saturday morning and was immediately grinning from ear to ear. This is so how I want our wedding to be – full of fun, laughter and a little silly. We’ve been seeing celebrants recently and have been struck by how serious they are. We [...]

Wow i wish I had such a healthy addiction! Maybe I should try green tea again… my addiction to chocolate IS a bit worrying!
xx
Oh dear, I wish at least one of mine was good for me!
Love the print!
I have two relatively healthy ones – I like anything pickled, and I could eat cucumber and baby tomatoes till the cows come home.
I am also addicted to tea, but unfortunately, i’m of the Earl Gray with milk persuasion!
Ok realising that my addiction to green tea makes me sound far more healthier/virtuous than I actually am… I also have addictions to salt and vin crisps, abc sugar letters and sailor jerry rum!
Polly – try good earth green tea with jasmine – it’s very light and a good green tea to get you into them (she said pimping tea!!)
Lisa-Marie – anything pickled? I can only think of pickled onions… or you do get lots of pickled veg in Japan??
Just one–oranges! I love oranges and orange juice (extra pulpy) and eat at least one orange a day. I adore other citrus but oranges are my absolute favorite. I’m fairly certain this is due to my mother drinking gallons of orange juice when she was pregnant with me.
I may have to try green tea with jasmine–that sounds delicious.
unfortuntely all of my addictions are unhealthy… although I do love green tea. I really should drink it more.
At the moment I seem to be getting through bags and bags of Bombay Mix! I need to start healthier addictions like yours!
I don’t think the word health and addiction go together, unfortunately. In my life anyway – totally wish I could say I was addicted to…. apples or something, but afraid not. Nice blog
