A camera of my very own…

Recently I got my very own SLR camera.
(I borrowed it from my Dad’s girlfriend for our SF holiday, fell in love with it, and she very kindly decided to sell it to me for a bargain basement price.)
I have no idea how to use it but that’s not been stopping me.
Here’s some of the shots I’ve been taking over the last week… so far my subjects have been limited to cats, the local park/gardens and, eh, cats. If only they were more patient models!
Hopefully I’ll get the knack of it soon!

There is absolutely nothing cuter than cat’s paws – except maybe balloons against a blue sky!
I think your photos look great! I love the evening sky and balloons…. I just bought my first dslr too and there is so much to learn but i’m loving it!

Nikons rock! My dad got me one for my birthday and I’m absolutely loving it. I’m still playing around with the focus options. Once I get that down pat, I’ll move on to the rest. Which model did you get?
